What leaps out of you about this set is the luster of the natural pearls against' the heavenly natural turquoise and that radiant gold.
A five-part pendant consists of a smooth, tapered bale, From this is suspended gold "ribbons" and an openly worked oval set with glowing natural saltwater pearls and cabochons of turquoise.
On the reverse, a locket compartment is covered in glass, the rim can be prised up to hold a precious memento (with a jeweler's assistance).
Three conical dangles are topped by hand-engraved gold and each holds a natural pearl.
Also oval in shape, the earrings mirror the design of the pendant. Victorian dating to around 1860, the set is 18k gold with the ear wires of 10k and entirely exquisite. It is housed in an fitted antique box.
