Story
Pigeon's blood red says it all...even if a bit graphically. Those three words used to describe rubies evoke a visceral reaction and are steeped in ancient tradition. Ruby gemstones should be deep red in color. That was the thought, period.
And while each of us has our tastes and preferences, the rubies in this antique ring show off their intense and blazing electric reds for all to see.
Three oval and faceted rubies total 1.15 carats of drama. For added shimmer, 4 old and deep single cut diamonds weigh in at .12 carats (color H-I, clarity SI1-2).
In a setting of 18k warm, yellow gold, the ring was fully hallmarked in Chester, England.
