Story

An early Victorian garnet and ring awaits its next caretaker.

In 18k soft hued rose gold, the center is an oval shaped cluster with a luscious rhodolite garnet that presents with yummy deep plum and hot pink shades. Its surround are half natural saltwater seed pearls with the outer edges in a pie crust, crimped collet or bezel.

All the gems are set closed backed, the garnet is bezel set.

Ornate and unusual, the shoulders and shank are three dimensional accented with both white and black enamel touches. Likely memorial in nature, this circa 1840-1850s ring is one for the collector and aficionado alike.
