Textured 15k gold leaves alternate with almandine, plum-hued garnet leaves in these mid-length dangle antique earrings.
Dating to circa 1860, three realistic leaves support six pear or teardrop-shaped faceted garnets for a total length of 1 7/16 inches.
Set closed backed, the garnets radiate a lush shade of raspberry. Each is bezel set with tiny prongs of gold and the addition of granulated orbs at the tips.
