Story

Pulling mussels from a shell...seashore gatherings with clambakes, mussels and lobster, ice cold lemonade and white sands.

This antique large and weighty locket is perfectly modeled on a double-sided clamshell. Created in 15k yellow gold and polychrome enamel, other than its edges touched with gold and a bright sheen, it looks like the real thing.

Expertly hand painted, concentric rings of deep green, golden black, jet black and coppery hues all blend into a tactile and statement-making piece of jewelry.

English in origin, it dates to circa 1930. It feels as good as it looks, smooth and silken to the touch. Its interior is also fully enameled with tan and cream colors and edges and modeling of blue black.

Able to hold any number of types of mementos, it will remind you of sun kissed voyages and surfside friendships.
