Sublime, this 15k gold pendant dates to circa 1850. Adorned with glowing cobalt blue guilloche enamel, the design underneath peeks out with swirls and patterns.

The heart is encased in 6 tiny gold rose buds or flowers with leaves on each side of the blooms.

Atop is a floral cluster of 4 natural half saltwater pearls of 4-5 mm in diameter. Centered within is a petite cushion cut old mine cut diamond of .03 carats.

Turning it over reveals a heart-shaped glass covered locket compartment which can be removed by our jeweler so that you may place your desired contents inside.

Above the heart is a Heracles love knot in gold work resembling miniature rope. A 9k gold substantial yellow gold textured rope chain is included.

This pendant necklace comes in an antique maroon leather hinged box with silk and velvet re-fitted interior and a darling clasp.

Measurements: Pendant: Heart itself is 7/8 inches by 13/16 inches wide by 7/16 inches deep. With the knot and bales the total length is 1 5/8 inches long. Weight of 13.4 grams.

Hallmarks: 9ct on the chain and clasp.

Condition: Excellent, chain has been added later added to the pendant. Glass locket cover has minute edgewear to the bezel and two tiny chips also at the bevel. Box is in good condition with minor scuffing, scratches and wear. Interior base refitted.
