Story

For every diamond bee brooch you come across, there is only about 1 in 100 that are enlivened by aquamarines!

Herbert Rosenthal bees are the quintessential choice, and what started in the 1960s in a small way became a jewelry frenzy of insect and bee brooches. Highly sought after today, their quality is fine and many that came after his design firm were poor copies of his standards of workmanship.

In 18k yellow gold, this little buzzing adornment boasts 16 aquamarines, 3 brilliant cut diamonds and the eyes are alight with two tiny rubies.

Ethereal in pale blue hues, each slightly different, the aquamarines blend beautifully with the diamonds that rest atop the head and body of this flying charmer. Each wing is textured to resemble the segments and patterns of a bee. Six textured legs peek out from under the body.

Details:
Total weight aquamarines .54 carats
Total weight diamonds .14 carats
Color H-I, clarity VS
Two ruby eyes, total .01 carats.
18k gold
