Platinum and 18k yellow gold serve as the stage for this east west oriented diamond sapphire ring.
One old European cut diamond and two transitional cuts sit horizontally and combined their weight equals .50 carats of shimmer to light up the finger.
At the center, the diamond is a K-L color and a clarity of I1 (for clear inclusions); the two side diamonds are white at H-I color, VS2-SI1 clarity.
In diagonals, eight synthetic calibré cut sapphires (correct for the period) bring their touch of royal blue coloration.
The entire top is platinum filigree with more on the shoulders and illusion platinum work to mimic a tiny diamond on each side. The remainder is 18k yellow gold, from English circa the 1930s.
