Story
The symbolic cross over or bypass ring has a longstanding tradition. Also aptly named Moi et Toi (French for “me and you”), the ring is sentimental in nature and symbolizes the melding of two into one.
Whether that represents your dual nature, a blending of ideas, two family members or friends, or those in a more intimate arrangement, the ring dazzles.
This glorious antique Victorian ring dates to circa 1880 and pairs an old European cut diamond of 1.35 carats with a mesmerizing, cobalt blue natural sapphire of 2.25 carats.
With a GIA certificate no. 1192698848, the diamond's color is an I and its clarity exceptionally fine at VVS2. Eight more old European cut diamonds graduate along the arms of the sides for an additional .44 carats (H-I color, VS2-SI2 clarity), for a grand total diamond weight of 1.79 carats.
Saturated in deep blue, the round faceted sapphire shows off brighter highlights within the gemstone. Tapering sides segue to a streamlined shank that is a smooth expanse of 15k yellow gold.
