Story
In sculptural 18k yellow gold and fashioned in two parts, these Iberian regional earrings evoke the past and yet capture the spirit of the present.
Each is set with 16 petite rose cut diamonds. Undulating, the perimeters consist of a series of domes and between heart shaped and divided gold forms. Atop each dome a tiny diamonds rests, and in the center of the surmount and drop, a larger rose cut is placed.
Rub-over gold encases each diamond, and they are closed backed. Stippled, the reverse shows the centers of each in this lovely texture with the outer rims engraved with linear designs.
Characteristic of a style that persisted for decades from the later part of the 1700s through the early 1800s, these earrings can be worn everyday.
