An exceptional brooch & stick pin starts with the motif on a swan. Gliding across the surface of water, the swan is carved out from the reverse and then hand painted in intricate and exacting detail.

Created in 15k yellow gold, its surround is a gold bezel. A rim of minute, fine twisted wire work and braiding encircles the rock crystal.

Typical of the Victorian era, the pin portion has twists helping it to hold firm into any fabric.
