SPECIAL MARKDOWN! Exceptional Value!
Two mighty bears rest atop this antique silver seal fob.
One standing and the other seated, the bear's surfaces are realistically modeled with their musculature, fur, faces and expressions expertly crafted. One, seated, appears to be growling at its companion.
The base is flat and engraved with a monogram of GM or MG that could be pressed into wax as a seal. Created around 1900, the seal is made of 800 silver (sterling is 925 parts out of 1000) and is typical in the fineness of much of the silver jewelry of this period.
Its size is ideal for wear by itself as a pendant or could be a charm or part of a neck mess layered with other talismans and amulets.
