Vintage or antique "new old stock" are items created long ago, but were never sold, worn, or used in any way. These days they are a rare find. But in this case, a family jewelry business purchased these frosted rock crystal hoops a generation ago.

Taking parts of an Art Deco brooch, a lacy filigree 14k white gold top fitting was fashioned. Then 14k yellow gold shepherd's hook ear wires complete the dangles and voila...a gorgeous pair of hoop earrings if reborn!

Two tiny diamonds grace the top along with a gold flower and intricate patterns on the bell-shaped fittings.

Our favorite is the carved bottom half of the rock crystal with its chunky, sculptural design.
