Story
From the noted jeweler J.R. Woods, this Art Nouveau signet ring is suffused with an aristocratic air.
In 10k yellow gold, the center oval is hand engraved in flowing and ornate script, GES. Traditionally monograms place the last name at the center in a larger font, so likely GSE.
Deeply worked, the shoulders and sides exhibit undulating curves with sinuous lines set upon a canvas of textured and darker gold. At the back, the shank tapers and is plain and polished.
