Story
Once you fall in love with old cut diamonds, you rarely look back. Each has a personality all its own. Here, a bevy of old mine and cushion cut diamonds forms a halo of light around a cut-corner square garnet.
In 10k rose gold, the setting beneath the stones is reminiscent of tiny crowns. The shoulders are trumpet shaped and sleek, then tapering to a thinner smooth as silk band.
With 1/4 carat (or .25 carats) of antique diamonds, they catch the light and reflect it into the garnet gemstone. A color of I-N and the clarity of SI1-3 the diamonds' soft warm hues blends perfectly with the fiery cinnamon shades of the garnet of .70 carats.
Note: Old mine and cushion cut diamonds have a perimeter that is square or rectangular in look with angled or slightly rounded corners.
