Story

Doesn't it seem extra special when you know the exact year something was created, worn, and cherished?

This extra large, sterling silver statement-making heart locket and pendant is emblazoned in an artful script, "1895". So stylish, that at first, it appears to be only a pattern. Then the numbers come into focus.

The lettering is so beautiful, with vine-like, organic touches, and horizontal hand-engraved hatching that it adds all the more to its elegance.

On the reverse, in the same font, are initials that almost seem to resemble flowers, such as snowdrops or lilies of the valley. There is a "C" and possibly an "A", "P" and "L". But, feel free to chime in if you see differently.

It opens from the side to reveal two heart-shaped photo compartments with their original silver rims and replaced clear plastic covers.
