Archaeological revival at its best, this memorable necklace of a marvelous chain and locket pendant is destined to be your favorite jewel.
Entirely made of 14k yellow gold, the wide woven herringbone chain utilizes 5 rows in an unbroken ribbon of weighty mesh. Flat and sinuous, it catches the light as you move and ripples with highlights.
At each end rest two rectangular caps with wire work and diamond shaped raised gold work and another similar serves as the clasp.
The pendant's diamond shape is elongated. Around the perimeter are cannonball gold granulated orbs and these are then layered with wirework and level changes.
The modified fleur de lis raised element is encrusted with natural sapphires, rubies, diamonds and a half natural saltwater pearl.
On the reverse is an oval locket with a removable glass and rim serves to secret away a cherished photo or memento. Victorian dating to circa 1860, it will garner every compliment.
