Rubies and garnets blend seamlessly in this classic mid 19th century English ring.
With a low profile and under-gallery of swooping and curled gold, the top is a cluster of gemstones.
At the center, along with the three smallest above and below, are set rubies. The remaining gemstones are closely matched garnets with just slight variations in shades of red and purple for all.
All but the center are set closed backed. In 18k gold, the shoulders retain a hint of their original incised decorative patterns.
