SPECIAL MARKDOWN!
Everything the Edwardian period (1890-1915) embodied comes down to us in these exquisite earrings. A neutral palette of diamonds, delicacy and ultra recherché design culminate in the "holy grail" of earrings.
Platinum over 15k yellow gold is the loom upon which a work of wearable art is woven.
Forty-two antique diamonds align in a waterfall of 1 5/8 inches. The ideal length for a dangle earring, they have a scintillating presence yet aren't too much, balanced between refinement and glitter.
Created in four parts, the diamond weight adds up to 3.05 carats. Many of these are bezel set and accented with fine mille grain (beaded) edges. In a flower shape, the bottom dangle is suspended from a line of diamonds along with a four-sided curved diamond shape.
Dating to the turn of the 20th century, these circa 1900 earrings come in a re-fitted antique tooled leather, cream silk and velvet box.
