Story

One of the most sentimental and memorable bracelets comes down to us from the turn of the 20th century around the year 1900.

Some lucky woman was blessed with a large family. With each son, daughter, sister, brother, or even cousin or extended relative, their initials or monograms were carefully hand engraved into this bangle.

Inside and out, there are a total of a lucky thirteen sets of initials. Each one is engraved in a different fancy script. It is easy to imagine that as her children were born, the bangle was lovingly surrendered to the family jeweler for another set of initials to be added to the clan. This must have been one of her most prized possessions.

In hollow sterling silver slip-on style, it is a poignant reminder of how jewelry marks the milestones and connections in our lives.
