Story
The Edwardian era's style of jewelry flowed with delicacy and a refined aesthetic.
Without exception, this necklace showcases that to perfection. Created in 14k yellow gold, its focus rests on six of the finest blue moonstones that you will ever see. Cut en cabochon with flat backs and gently rounded tops, the total weight for the six comes to 16 carats of ethereal beauty.
The largest oval moonstone weighs 8.5 carats and is set within a tailored bezel that is accented by a surround comprising a series of round openings with braided wire designs bordering each side.
Between the pendant and remainder of the moonstone gemstones are placed elongated ovals of gold. One round bullet cabochon and four more ovals moonstones are suspended by a fine rolo chain.
Today, finding moonstones of this quality is akin, as the old idiom states, to finding hen's teeth. With each imperceptible movement, the electric pale blue flashes erupt from within the gemstones' inner depths.
