Story
Pared down to the essence of the royal gemstone known as emerald, this chic ring artfully plays as an everyday wear-it-always ring, one for a memorable evening, or a unique engagement ring.
Color is all important in an emerald; high on the list are shades in the medium to deep range without becoming muddy or dull. At the center of this beauty reigns a fine, rich medium saturated oval emerald of 4.03 carats. It presents as lush and verdant. Not many emeralds emanate with highlights, but this one does.
Clarity is all important as well. Emeralds are notoriously included but it is their placement, number and type that can affect their vibrance. Moderately included, this emerald has inclusions that rest in the mid to deep areas within the stone, imparting a clear top surface.
At its side are two curved triangular or trillion diamonds of a total of .80 carats. One is color G-H, clarity VS, the other H-I, SI1-2. A three stone ring remains ever in style.
French in origin, it was created in 18k yellow gold.
Note: Did you know the French hallmarks on rings are placed on the outside at the back of the shank or band? Some people think this tiny mark is a flaw, but it is a sign that indicates an item is French in origin.
