Story

Dated in hand engraved script, this sumptuous aquamarine and diamond patterned wide bangle is a superlative example that is both wearable as it is breathtaking..

Wide and weighty at 9/16 inches, the front face is alive with color and radiance in the form of two aquamarines and 3 old European diamonds. Both cut into diamond shapes, the aquamarines totaling 2.75 carats. With a total of .45 carats, the diamonds are alive with life and sizzle (color H-J, clarity SI1-2).

Aquamarines are among the more unusual gemstones found in Edwardian and Art Nouveau bangles. Diamonds, peridots and sapphires are far more frequent. This is the first aquamarine bangle of its type ever offered in our 17 plus year history.

The entire bangle is patterned to the exterior with flowers, swirls and flourishes adding texture, lines and visual interest to the whole.

To the interior, the inscription, "E..L.H., and the date, Dec. 14, 1907. The oval bangle is hinged.

Don't hesitate to ask about our hand engraving services to pass on the history of new or antique pieces that you present as gifts, it adds another layer of meaning to its history.
