SPECIAL MARKDOWN!
This circa 1925 platinum pendant is just exceptional, from materials and craftsmanship all the way to subject matter.
A rock crystal oval cabochon has been delicately carved on the reverse with an image of a cavorting woman. Wearing diaphanous clothing, the figure raises a veil or scarf arced over her head.
A platinum surround has been set with 24 old European and old single cut diamonds. With a total carat weight of .86 carats, the diamond color range in G-I, with one at J-K, and clarity of SI1-2.
Exceptional mille grain decorations in alternating triangular patterns line the perimeter. The rock crystal is backed with black onyx and the effect is entrancing, highlighting the woman in all her finery.
A later date platinum chain accompanies the remarkable pendant.
