Story
Classic and timeless design marks this opal and diamond halo ring as a must see.
An Australian opal of .70 carats is polished in an oval cabochon shape. It ranks as exceptional for its flickering coloration, with chunks of red (the rarest of opal hues), hot orange, neon green and blue with undertones of purple.
The perimeter of 20 old mine cut diamonds forms a halo of light. Each is set in an intricate 10k yellow gold trefoil gallery imparting an ornate presence. With a total weight of .60 carats (H-I color; SI1-2 clarity), the glittering group creates a fabulous surround.
With shoulders decorated with volutes that taper gradually to a plain shank, every aspect of the ring visually strikes a chord.
