An extraordinary antique bangle bracelet shows off some of the finest workmanship extant within the jeweler's art.
A lifelike hand and wrist is realistically modeled then decorated with cobalt blue enamel in thin linear channels forming an all-over pattern. Wearing a diamond ring and a superb bracelet, these are set with diamonds, natural rubies and a natural saltwater pearl.
Rococo in style, the hand transitions to a type of ornate Corinthian capital with scrolls and acanthus leaves in yellow gold. Tapering downward, every front facing surface is a three dimensional wonder of design and patterns with the surfaces textured and the back section finely engraved.
The final section utilizes turquoise and oval cabochons in four sections in undulating waves of gold intertwined within the hand.
Weighty and fine, nothing like it has ever come through our hands.
