Story

Luscious garnets strike a melodious chord in combination with buttery, 15k burnished yellow gold.

Classic mid Victorian English style circa 1850 utilizes textured ivy vines and leaves in a symbolic statement. Ivy often represented attachment and fidelity to another. Three convex leaves languidly fall from gold vine stems.

Underneath, two round, hollow puffs of gold are brightly polished, one smaller atop the larger. Leaf shapes serve as the fronts of the surmount that hold the shepherd's hook ear wires.

And best of all, two oval garnets rest within in each earring, one oriented east west and one north and south glow like embers in a fireplace.

Note the striking use of both almandine garnets (purple hues) for the top two, and cinnamon colored garnets for beneath. With a total weight of 4.75 carats, their highlights and shades radiate with lush tones.
