Story
Seal your letters with wax impressed with images, sayings or mottos. Making pictures into words, a rebus takes the mundane and adds a dash of whimsy and magic.
Often used in the Georgian and Victorian periods for seals and fobs, once pressed in wax, the message becomes clear.
In this case the images, letters and words below can be translated to a thought used for sealing your letter to a friend or loved one:
I (picture of an eye)
saw (picture of a saw)
your (picture of an ewer)
friends
who
are (the letter R)
all (picture of an awl)
well (picture of a well)
Wear this on a chain when not in use, it is created in 10k rose gold (with likely a small amount of metal for strength to the base), beautifully demarcated with waves of gold. The bottom is a carnelian agate that has been carved as an intaglio so that it may be pressed into any appropriate soft material.
