Story
Pale blue with a myriad of facets gives this 1.75 carat aquamarine ring a special look. Ethereal as the waters of an exotic sea, the gem has a translucence which brings forth all the sparkle and clarity one could wish for.
The cool surface of the 14k white gold openwork filigree mounting reveals a dragonfly on each shoulder. With open wings, its body is aligned vertically down the shank. Delicate open work for the remainder of the gallery compliments the aquamarines.
A diamond bisects the two five-sided, fancy-cut aquamarines. Oriented north and south, the ring aids the impression of elongating the finger.
Created by the Belais firm, known for its patent for white gold in the 1920s, they are also known for their fine jewelry.
