Story
Engraved and dated, there is at least one poignant story in this ring's history alas if only it could talk. To the interior, we find hand engraved initials, A.P.V. and on the other side, the date probably when presented as a gift or to mark on occasion, of August 29, 1880.
At 139 years old, it wears its age gracefully as its condition is excellent. Created in 14k gold, it is a classic of American rings of the day with a medium width band, incised with leaf-like emblems, beaded edges and rose gold.
At the center rests a pyrope, wine red cabochon garnet of 2.90 carats. It is deep in color but reads red to the eye and reflects brighten highlights. It's ready for daily or occasional wear and awaiting its next series of life adventures.
