Story

What a superb example of precious metal work that was designed and manufactured by W.B. Kerr & Co. Founded in 1855, they catered to the Art Nouveau connoisseurs of the United States.

Created in sterling silver with raised designs, it is a classic of the era with its curvaceous decorative elements. The miniature mirror is large but still wearable as a statement pendant or adds to any hand mirror collection or dresser ensemble.

The handle on both sides displays a cherub face with a flowery petaled collar and impish curly hair. Above are a myriad of decorative elements that take their cues from the neoclassical including a lily flower.

The mirror is faced with waves of raised silver along with roses and a plethora of organic curls. A faint engraving in a fancy script displays the initials of MDW in some combination. However, it is so ornate, it appears to be a pattern (if those don't happen to match your initials).

The reverse shows the original beveled mirror and at the end, an "O" ring can be used for a chain or ribbon.
