As symbols, the acorn and the oak leaf have long reflected strength and prosperity. Think of the mighty oak tree or the humble seed that becomes a towering tree.
Patterned for over 3/4 of the band are four oak leaves and between, four pair of acorns. Deeply patterned, the two sides are mirror images of each other, analogous to the joining of two individuals as one.
Dating to circa 1880, the 10k rose gold ring is in remarkable condition for its age. A smooth area at the back makes for easy resizing without disturbing the evocative decorative areas.
It can be stacked, or worn solo, as a wedding band as well as a for a man or woman.
