Story

When is three not a crowd? When they are two rubies and a diamond gracing an antique ring that when. In 14k rose gold and placed in a vertical alignment, each is positioned so that they are distinct, full or brilliance and yet work in harmony.

With an old cushion cut diamond of .20 carats, this is enhanced by two round faceted rubies of a total of .30 carats.

The rose gold mounting is characteristic of the later 19th century American rings and employs a three part design for the shoulders with touches of engraving that then segue to a smooth tapered shank.

The diamond is a slight champagne hue although in some lights looks white, in others has a kiss of sunlight at a L-M color, SI2-3 clarity. It is worn by love and time, but the ring is hand engraved to the interior, possibly G. Saker and a year of 18??.
