Evocative of a doorway to be opened or a book with secrets hidden inside, this Art Deco diamond emerald pendant creates visual intrigue with shape and color.
Circa 1925, six geometric synthetic emeralds (correct for the era) are placed toward the center. A vertical subtle line down the middle divide the two left and right haves. Twelve single cut diamonds are dotted top bottom and left and right adding their aura the textured and mille grain surfaces.
All in 18k white gold, a pendant bale suspends the drop. A 10k white gold chain is vintage in date, but added later. A total of .22 carats of single cut diamonds (G-H color, VS2 clarity) and .08 carats of synthetic emeralds grace the pendant.
