Story
Dating to 1960, this ring's age is now celebrating its 59 th year as an admired and cherished finger ring. It still looks as lively as the day it was presented on July 3rd of that year.
Engraved to the interior with that date, 7-3-60, it was certainly a gift to a loved one or dear friend.
An oval-faced medium-deep citrine weighs in at 6.8 carats, its summer-shine colors blending from safflower to brightly kissed warm rays emanating from within.
Its faceting brings out the best in this citrine gemstone. Two brilliant cut diamonds beside it enliven and add frosty shimmer to it with a total weight of .20 carats (H-I color, SI1-2 clarity).
The setting is in 14k yellow gold, displaying divided shoulders and tapering smooth polished surfaces.
