Story
Of another era and another time, this Georgian garnet emerald ring speaks volumes about the wearer. Nothing can compare to the feel, design and aura of a ring that dates to circa 1760.
Spanish and Iberian Peninsula regional jewelry hit a particular zenith in the 18th century. Stylistically and technically it had a flair and grandeur that is unsurpassed.
Typical of the time period, this utilizes a three stone configuration all in 18k yellow gold. Gemstones were almost exclusively set closed backed as in this ring, quite the opposite of today's jewelry.
The garnet is 7.5 x 5 mm and the emeralds are estimated at .25 carats total. A true slice of history.
Note: Not recommended for a daily wear or engagement ring due to its great age. Fine for occasional wear.
