Story
These charming English award fob medals often depicted animals from small to large; these are ever on our "must find" list given their steady popularity.
In England in the late 19th and early 20th century, all manner of sterling silver awards were given out for animal husbandry and the finest in show from pigeon keeping to more traditional horse and dog competitions.
Here is one that was never bestowed. Quite unusual this one features a guinea pig (a first for us) and two different breeds of rabbits. One portly bunny with long floppy ears, the other trim and pert.
In circular form with its original bale, it can be worn as a charm, pendant or suspended from chunky bracelet. Art Deco in date, the reverse states, "Presented by Fur & Feather To".
