Story

A fabulous signed Dallas Prince ring from the "Vince & Prince Collection" showcases a scarce 7.06 carat natural unheated Tanzanite. Highly sought after in this carat size, the gem is mined only is the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro in northern Tanzania.

Rarely does one see an unheated Tanzanite, as over 99.5% of them are heated right after they are excavated. Its surprising as their myriad of hues makes for a mesmerizing eye catcher.

Beautiful coloration of strong purple with pastel teal ocean blue, this is a pleochroic stone which flashes with different colors when viewed at different angles. The faceted oval gem is claw set within a mounting of 18k white gold. Highlighting the Tanzanite is a surround of twenty-six brilliant cut diamonds, total weight of .33 carats (H-I color; VS2-SI1).

Dallas is noted for her unique striking settings. This specific one represents both the male and the female perspective. The strong use of lineation is juxtaposed with the sensuality of curves. Her use of metal employs a minimalist viewpoint with the incorporation of space and open work.
