Story
Many of the earrings of the Victorian era had characteristic motifs which were similar to the hidden language of flowers. One of those designs was the crescent moon.
This symbol represented female energy of the moon goddess. The star is another symbol which is representative of guiding you in the right direction in life.
Elaborate and full of flourishes, this 14k yellow gold earring incorporates both the star and crescent moon into its composition. Caressed within the curve of a crescent moon rests a five pointed star set with a natural freshwater half seed pearl.
At the apex an articulated surmount of a stylized trefoil is embellished with a square turquoise.
Elements of ornamental tracery and scrolling forms decorated with additional seed pearls and turquoise appoint the lower portion of the earring. A simple kidney wire with safety hook adds security.
