Topaz possess a sheen and radiance surpasses that of its similar hued "cousin", the citrine. Remarkable for its refraction, this pear shaped gemstone set into a pendant locket beguiles the eye and mind.
Georgian in date circa 1830, the topaz is characteristically set in a deep well of gold, with a rub over crimped bezel. Foil backed, the topaz hues range from brightest sunlight yellow to deeper butterscotch.
At the bottom rests a frill of repousse gold. The reverse reveals a glass covered locket to be filled with a memento of photograph of personal meaning. All in 18k yellow gold, it is steeped in history.
