Story

A scarce example of a ring, hand engraved to the interior, indicates that this was worn by two generations of the same family. Dating to 1890, this wide 14k rose gold wedding band reveals its history from the inside out.

Hand engraved in flowing script, first "E.I. to B.I." and then in slightly different style of engraving, "H.I. to A.I.", with a partially worn date of 9-29-90 (for 1890).

Ideal if sizing is required with its plain section at the back, the front and sides are deeply worked in a captivating pattern. Either a man or woman is well suited to its width and presence. This late Victorian or early Edwardian ring was lovingly worn by a family for two generation and is still in remarkable condition.
