Story
Poppies serve as the inspiration for this exceptional Art Nouveau two-part jewel. The top portion is a brooch and also watch hanger but it is more than enough worn by itself.
The bottom is a decorative watch enameled front and back. Wear it suspended from the brooch as a pendant, or place it ion a chain and wear it as a pendant or even draped into a pocket.
Two striking shades of enamel capture the attention. Vibrant teal for the background with violet and plums poppies with teal centers. Organic is feel and design, each bloom spreads outward with their stems entwined.
Pure turn of the 19th century Art Nouveau sensibilities dominates the artwork. All hand painted, the front near the watch facet alternatives almost heart shapes with leaf like petals.
The watch face is ivory white with lovely numerals and a single hand to denote the hour.
