This ring of 18k white gold filigree says Art Deco with so many of those striking characteristics. From the sparkling .50 carat old European cut diamond (G-H color; VS clarity) set in a six-sided geometric bezel to the contrasting bold blue synthetic sapphires (correct for the time period) placed on the shoulders.
The hexagonal setting is appointed with mille grain accents and a design pattern along the border. Triangle shaped trilliant cut synthetic sapphires of a total weight of .10 carats are centered within the trumpet shaped shoulders.
Lovely foliate open work designs provide that subtle touch of femininity and give the ring a large dose of panache and flair.
