Story
During the 1920s charm bracelets became all the rage. The style was often a sophisticated version and luxury reigned with many in platinum and adorned with gems and diamonds. Whimsical themes and creative motifs ranged from animals to musicians, transportation of the day to good luck symbols.
Here an ostrich of platinum takes on a traditional pose by burying his head. The shy creature sees his world through a .03 carat oval ruby cabochon eye.
His body is marked with a 12 by 7.9 by 6.6 mm natural baroque purple brown freshwater pearl set amidst “feathers” of eleven diamonds, total weight of .36 carats (H-I color; SI1-3 clarity) fluttering in the wind.
