Story
The Aesthetic Period of the Victorian Era incorporated a number of stylized Japanese motifs as well as Orientalism design in general. The use of birds, flowers and insects populated the decorative arts.
A fabulous 1880 interpretation of this influence is utilized in this wide 10k rose gold wedding band. Subtle square panels are embellished with a series of open hand fan forms. Incised on the horizontal, the fan images touch to create a continuous pattern.
Texture and visual interest abound. The interior is hand engraved in script with “FMR to CGI”.
