Story
The Madeira citrine is one of the more sought after colors of this gemstone family. Typically, the citrine has a yellow hue but the one referred to as Madeira is darker and somewhat reddish brown or sunny orange in coloration.
A wonderful variation on the classic cluster ring, this 18k yellow and white gold adornment for the finger employs a 5.05 carat oval faceted citrine. Superb and lively, the gem resonates with deep amber colors reminiscent of the autumnal changes of tree leaves. Multiple yellow gold prongs secure the citrine.
Single cut diamonds in 14k white gold settings, twelve in all with a total weight of .30 carats (H-I color; VS clarity) form a twinkling star design around the citrine. Pointed white gold bezels alternate with the yellow gold claws in a fabulous twist on the cluster or halo ring.
