Story
Paying homage to the style of the Victorian age, this 18k yellow and white gold cluster ring illustrates the timelessness of good taste and stellar design.
The star is an oval faceted amethyst of 2.4 carats set predominately in the forefront with multiple yellow gold claws. Rising from the surround, the regal royal purple gem virtually shoots lightening bolts of color.
Only brilliant cut diamonds, fourteen in all with a total weight of .70 carats (H-I color; SI1-2 clarity) could be the “proper” counterpoint. The halo is set in 18k white gold to emphasize the whiteness and the size of the glittering diamond surround.
An open work intricate under gallery of white gold with its coronet mounts creates a crown-like effect for the halo ring. A characteristic split shoulder featuring a double scroll motif joins with a smooth 18k yellow gold shank.
This design is a classic English ring, one that never seems to go out of vogue.
