Story
This lovely 15k yellow gold treasure stars a spectacular round faceted amethyst of 20 carats! medium deep in hue, it possesses lively lilac highlights. The 17 mm gem rises up and has a flat table at the apex.
Banded with a double bezel, one plain and the other of twisted wire work, the tiered pendant segues to yet another smooth bezel followed by a scalloped surround consisting of fourteen turquoise half cabochons alternating with fourteen natural freshwater half seed pearls 1 to 2 mm in diameter.
The original bale displays a floral motif set with a turquoise half cabochon and two seed pearl half cabochons. English in origin, it retains in original hallmark of 15ct (British for karat).
