Story
The history of earring types includes the illustrious girandole: a mid-seventeenth century form of three parts typically wider than long. With a trio of pendant drops, it is also known as a chandelier earring.
Elegant in presentation this antique earring from the later decades of the Victorian era reflects the eighteenth century revival style popular during that time period.
The pair incorporates fourteen almandine garnets, total weight of 12.6 carats. Each gem glows with luscious purple color and bright highlights accented by individual pinched collets of 14k yellow gold.
Modern 10k yellow gold ear wires have been added.
