Story
Like a prominent jewel in a crown, a deep blue bright sapphire oval cabochon of 3.65 carats takes its rightful place in a mounting of 18k white gold.
Encompassed in an open and pierced collet, the gem is highlighted on each shoulder by a .03 carat single cut diamond (two in all, total .06 carats, L-M color and VS2-SI1 clarity).
A gradually tapering shank allows for organic foliate-like designs on the sides to create a scalloped edge full of visual and textural interest.
Hand carved to the interior are the initials “EG”.
